About Us

Learn More About the Beaufort County Tennis Association

The Beaufort County Tennis Association (BCTA) is responsible for Hilton Head, Bluffton, and the Beaufort area of South Carolina, and manages USTA Adult League Tennis. USTA League Tennis is the world’s largest recreational tennis league, and provides organized, structured team matches.

Our leagues are for adults 18 and older, at a variety of skill levels (2.5 – 5.0). Many of our league teams compete for local, state, sectional and national championships.

In 2022, we combined the leadership of the two area leagues formerly referred to as TAHHI and CCTA.

Beginning in 2024 we are combining the two leagues under the umbrella of BCTA, for a more cohesive approach to our area’s growing tennis community. We will still operate two different leagues; however, they have new names, which launched in 2024. They are:

Hilton Head Tennis League (HHTL) includes:

  • Hilton Head Island, Moss Creek, and Daufuskie Island

Bluffton Beaufort Tennis League (BBTL) includes:

  • Bluffton, Sun City, Okatie, Beaufort, Dataw Island, St Helena Island, and all of Beaufort County
